$28    All the usual amenities, excellent condition, banks of the Murrumbidgee river, lots of grass, short walk into town, excellent information centre in town.

Hay Big 4 Caravan Park
$28.80    All the usual amenities, very good condition, short distance to a pub with excellent counter meals.

Sunday 18 June (1 night)
Cobar Caravan Park
$34.20    All the usual amenities, superb condition.

Monday 19 June (2 nights)
Warrega Riverside Caravan Park (Cunnamulla)
$37    Great amenities, superb condition, but only two showers.  Great private powered sites. Nightly campfire, entertainment and dinner Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Great location.

Wednesday 21 June (2 nights)
Lake Houdraman Unpowered Lakeside Site. $10
Superb place to relax and have a fire.

Friday 23 June (1 night)
Bank of Coopers Creek, 12 km south east of Windorah.
Excellent location.

Saturday 24 June (2 nights)
Longreach Tourist Park.
Very plain park, no grass. Excellent facilities. Entertainment in season. Restaurant & bar.

Monday 26 June (1 night)
Winton Tourist Park.
Very ordinary in all aspects.

Tuesday 27 June (3 nights)
Boulia Caravan park.
Superb grassy park in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommended.
Facilities Ok.


Friday 30 June (2 nights)
Birdsville Caravan Park (unpowered site)
Sites very rocky.  Amenities very good. Bakery an Pub within walking distance.

Monday 3 July (4 nights)
Birdsville Big Red Bash - beside Big Red sand dune.

Friday 7 July (2 nights)
Bedourie Race Track for the Camel and Pig Races.

Sunday 9 July (1 night)
Free camp about 90 km before Winton.

Monday 10 July (2 nights)
Longreach Tourist Park.
As above.


Wednesday 12 July (2 nights)
Lara Wetlands.
 $10 per person per night. No power. No water. Wonderful place to relax.

Friday 14 July (1 night)
Sapphire Free Camp in town.
OK for one night.  Has toilet.

Saturday 15 July (2 night)
Bedford Weir (Blackwater) free camp.

Monday 17 July (7 nights)
Capricorn Palms Tourist park (Yeppoon).
Superb park. Highly recommended.


Monday 24 July (2 nights)
Lake Awoonga Caravan park
Great amenities. Superb views.  Good walks, Grassy sites.

Wednesday 26 July (4 nights)
Bargara Beach Caravan Park.

Sunday 30 July (5 nights)
Woodgate Beach Tourist Park.  Lovely shady and quiet park.  Excellent amenities.

Friday 4 August (3 nights)
Inskip Point. Bush camping. Toilets. Beach.
